My dog is in heat and only pees 3 times daily. Is this normal for her?

My dog is in heat and she is urinating only 3 times a day and evrything is normal.Her behaviour is normal and she is not even lethargic.She is drinking water properly but urinating only 3 times a day.Though she urinates in large amount.

If she is acting fine otherwise the it is probably just normal for her. Continue to monitor her and have her examined by a vet if her signs persist or worsen. Your vet can check a urine sample to see if there is a problem.

Frequent urination and accidents are quite common in bitches in heat and generally subsides once the heat is over. If she develops a fever or loss of appetite you should have her assessed for a urinary tract infection
