Can my puppy have evaporated milk? Is it safe for their health?

My puppy is 1 month and 4 weeks old. He really likes evaporated milk. Can I continue giving him that or should I stop? Is it bad for their health? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 14 days old | 10 lbs

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Evaporated milk is very sugary and fatty, so this isn't the best food to feed a puppy. It could also cause digestive issues as most dogs don't tolerate lactose well. If Percy really loves it then giving a tiny tiny bit as a treat likely won't cause issues, however I would make sure you have his main diet as a high quality puppy food.
