My dog has gas, loose yellow stool, and isn't pooping. Is it serious?

We had a problem with Oz not pooping a week ago. The last 4 days he has had non stop gas. Small loose yellow stool. He is eating rice and chicken. Good appetite. What do you think about all that gas and poor pooping? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 12 years and 7 months old | 88 lbs

It could be that Oz had severe gastric upset. When dogs have an upset stomach it can cause severe gas and even diarrhea. I would continue feeding the bland diet and start an over the counter probiotic. However if it gets worse or does not continue to improve I would recommend taking Oz to a vet for a good exam and medications to help resolve the upset stomach.. hope that helps
