Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 9 years and 2 months old | 24 lbs

Cocker Spaniel- Terrier mix. We got her when she was about a month old on 7/22/2009. She is panting, shaking/tremors, excessive thirst, diarrhea, vomit and peeing a lot. It has been going on for 2 days now. What could it be?

I would recommend that Princess get checked out by a vet. She likely needs some diagnostics to figure out what could be the cause of her symptoms: thorough physical exam, bloodwork, +/- x-rays, +/- ultrasound. Possible causes for her symptoms include diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, Cushing's Disease, Addison's Disease, infection, cancer, among many others.
