Dog's anal gland swollen for weeks, not painful. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 20 lbs

My dogs anal gland is swollen it's the size of a half golf ball maybe smaller he's not affected or in pain He doesn't scoot or lick area been compressing and as a result it helped but it's not going down completely. It's been this way for almost 3 weels. What can I do so that it goes down completely. He's also is on a high fiber diet..although he is himself in still worried and would like to resolve issues myself ..what do u suggest

Poor smith. I would recommend taking him to a veterinarian to have the glands examined. A warm compress is a great idea but if they are infected smith will need antibiotics to help the swelling resolve. If infected anal glands are not addressed they can ruptured. Also sometimes based on the age of smith. Inflamed gland could be secondary to a mass, recital or prostate issue hope that helps
