Why is my dog's face red, swollen, dry, itchy, and losing fur?

Pet's info: Dog | American Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 7 months old | 80 lbs

Red partly swollen , dry, lost of fur and it bugs him he's rubbing his face on the floor. How did it happen? What the illness called ? How to treat it?

I'm sorry to hear Diesel isn't feeling well. Without seeing him it is hard to say what is causing the periocular hair loss. I would rule out mites (demodex) or an allergy. He could have allergies to anything he is exposed to- weeds, pollens , grasses, dust, foods, insects, etc. I recommend taking him to the vet tomorrow for a skin scrape for mites then discussing allergies. They can then get him the treatment he needs -probably antibiotics and steroids. Good luck and kisses to Diesel!
