Why does my dog lie on air vents? Is it normal or a concern?

Hatty lays on top of our air vents, is this normal, or should I be concerned that something may be wrong? I know, odd question, but we have had so many issues in her first 8 months, I'm on guard a bit. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 8 months and 29 days old | 75 lbs

Hello and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It sounds like Hatty likes the coolness on her belly. Dogs sweat by panting, through exchange in their paws, and through exchange in their armpits and inguinal area. It may also be she likes the vibration and noise when the air is on. As long as shes eating, drinking, playing hard, sleeping hard, and not vomiting or having diarrhea, she should be good. This may seem like an odd behavior but I bet it is just comforting to her.
