My dog has been licking his penis region a lot lately and I'v noticed a few red splotches in that area. They are not hard lumps but when I touch it my dog immediately starts licking it. What should I do? Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Male | unneutered | 15 lbs

It looks like he might have a skin infection. You could bathe him with a medicated dog shampoo and see if that helps. Otherwise, he should be examined by a vet for treatment. He may need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, and a corticosteroid to help. You could also put an E-collar on him to prevent licking.
