scooter is mixed york-chihuahua-but not a small dog. she coughed & gaged out this thing that looked like a hair ball, very tightly wraped. 1 1/2" long 1" around. it seemed to be alot of hair-grass-paper-string-, just a mix of weird stuff. it did not have any oder to it, but it was not fresh-the grass was dead.i can't even guess! could there be more?

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It is possible that more 'stuff' could come out, because we don't know how much of this she licked/ate. I would recommend feeding Scooter some boiled rice. If this goes down easily and stays down, and if Scooter is acting normally, then I would monitor for now. If Scooter doesn't want to eat, or if the rice 'falls back out' or she regurgitates this, or if she vomits this up at all, then I would get her to a vet ASAP to have x-rays to make sure there is nothing stuck in the stomach or in the esophagus. Best of luck with Scooter!
