My dog has a swollen, oozing neck mass & is lethargic. Emergency?

My 11 yr old terrier / shitzu mix has a growth or swollen mass under his mouth / neck . He has had this 3 days now and has started oozing blood and puss possibly. Is this an emergency issue or can this wait for a vet visit on Monday. He is very lathargic and also has buildup around the eyes. Sorry trying to give you as much info as possible. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 10 years and 3 months old | 30 lbs

I am sorry to hear about Lucky. If he is very lethargic as you describe then I think he should be seen before Monday and I would advise taking him to the emergency vet if your regular vet is not open. It is possible he has an abscess if this area appeared quite quickly and when it opened up there is pus involved. He may need an antibiotic to treat the infection.
