My cat has worms. Can I safely give him expired worm medicine?

My cat had worms in his vomit. I have worm medication but it's a little over a year expired. Would it be safe to give to him?

The expired dewormer will probably not harm your cat but it may not be very effective. I would recommend taking a stool sample to your vet to be checked and have them recommend a dewormer that will cover whatever specific parasites your cat has. I hope this helps.
