Why can't my 6-month-old Pomeranian puppy balance or use his back legs?

Hello,sir i have a pomelian bread dog 6 months old my dog was very ill his back legs were not functioning properlly he can not able to balance his body we talk our doctor he gives us some mediciens plze guide us we need help. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Male | 5 lbs

I am concerned about a possible trauma or even ruptured disc in his back. Is there any way he could of had trauma or an injury to his back. Also infection like meningitis can cause neurological changes. I know you took him to a vet but he most like needs x-rays and possibly a ct/MRI to really look for broken bones and an injured spinal cord. I hope robin approves quickly
