Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 10 days old
My 10 week old kitten had a poop that was almost black in colour. He had his first vaccination 3 days ago and was also deformed. Could this have caused the dark stool? He is eating and drinking, also lively and playful.

Hello sorry to hear about Ash. Vaccines can definitely cause allergic reactions some of which may present as dietary signs. However, the deworming may have also cause any potential parasites which could have been present in your kitten to die off and causes changes in his stool color. As long as he is playing around, eating, drinking, and not having any vomiting or diarrhea then I would just monitor him for now. I would recommend bribing him to your veterinarian if he does how ever develop any of the signs I mentioned. Hope this helps and best of luck!
