My dog ate Clonazepam (Lonazep). Will he have seizures or be sick?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 9 months old

I am generally asking for knowledge actually doctor has prescribed LONAZEP medicine to my mom because of sleeping disorder and when i read about medicine it says it is also used in controlling of different types of seizures but what if my dog by chance eat or swallow my mom medicine LONAZEP then can it lead to seizure attack or can seizures to him start for rest of his life? His weight is 34 kg

Clonazepam can be used to treat seizures in dogs. If ingested, sedation, depression, and stumbling can occur. Without knowing the milligram of the medication, I don't know it he will have any signs. It will not cause seizures though. I would just be careful he doesn't ingest them. Keep them out of reach, in a cabinet. Kisses to Bruno!
