My hamster chirps and curls up when breathing. Is this normal?

My hamster is 8 weeks old and he chirps constantly when he breathes. He also curls his body up into a ball and he closes his eyes and makes a scratching type of noise as he strains his back and eventually falls asleep. Should I be concerned?

What a cute name. I think Loki is most likely just relaxing and sleeping. If at any time he is not eating, drinking or using the restroom I would be concerned and take him to a vet. However at this time I think you can just monitor him at home. Hope that helps
