Is AC okay for puppy with sinus infection? When will antibiotics work?

Hi! I was wondering if my seven month old puppy can sleep in an air conditioned room while he is sick with a cold/sinus infection? I have a window unit that makes the room pretty cold. Also, he started on antibiotics yesterday for his sinus infection. There is no improvement yet. When can I expect improvement? Pet's info: Dog | Brittany | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 3 days old | 30 lbs

Hi there and thank you for your post! In regards to keeping him in a room that is air conditioned while he has a sinus infection, this is absolutely fine. The air conditioning will not worsen the infection. If he has already been started on a course of antibiotics then I would expect some improvement within a few days. If he is worsening or not doing any better than I would take him back into your veterinarian for a recheck to ensure additional treatments are not needed. I hope this helps!
