My dog has a painful lump on her head. It's not improving. What now?

Hi there ! My corgi ( had her for 10 years since she was born :) has a small lump on the top of her head. It's painful to the touch and very painful for her if I press. The vet 2 weeks ago said it looks okay and just like a bump but to bring her back in if it hasn't improved. It hasn't .. we're short on

Unfortunately if the lump is getting worse and not improving, you will need to have it rechecked to determine what should be done next. I would recommend having it removed to completely resolve the problem. Especially if it is bothering Bella. Some vets will offer freezing therapy to freeze a lump for removal. This option is much more affordable than having it surgically removed but sometimes the lumps do not resolve with cryogenic freezing alone. I hope this helps!
