My dog eye got scratch and I need to know how to take care of it?? I can't afford a vet visit right now. It's a little swollen and I can't get good picture because he won't open his eye.

Unfortunately you cannot treat it in an efficient way without seeing a vet, the eye needs to be checked, if there is a scratch on the cornea Rocky will need two types of drops (corneal repair drop and antibiotic drop) in order for the eye to heal, those drops are prescription only. if left untreated he could lose the eye.

I am sorry to hear that Elvis isn’t healing the way we would hope. Some dogs will develop a non healing ulcer , Also called an indolent ulcer of the cornea. If this is the problem then a short surgical procedure to debride the cornea called a keratotomy will usually aid in getting it to heal.
