Choosing a second dog: GSD female vs. Labrador male temperament?

What breed i shoyld go for now i got 1 yr 8 month gsd now i want to adopt another dog so should i go for gsd female or black labrador male and why? Also do gsd female also lunging on people like gsd male does or gsd females are quite in terms of male? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 9 months old

Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I personally prefer Labrador Retrievers though German Shepherds can make great pets for the right owner. Since you already have a German Shepherd and know how to work well with them then getting another German Shepherd would make sense. German Shepherds in general can be quite strong willed just like you described lunging at people and yes a female could do it as well. Labradors are easier to train. Good luck!
