My puppy died. Could it be canine coronavirus? Can it infect my dog?

Hi, I recently put a deposit on a blue merle austrailan shepherd puppy that was born July 30. There were 11 pupies...mine and 4 others have since died. The breeder said at first it was fading puppy syndrome and now says her new vet thinks it could be Canine Coronavirus. She said I could have a male since mine died and I said ok...but I dont want to get a sick dog and infect my other one. I read that virus can stay in their system for up to 6 mos. Hi. I would recommend staying away from this litter and breeder. It sounds like they have something hereditary or infectious to be concerned about that they need to deal with. I would get your money back and look elsewhere.
