Before i ask a question, I want to say thankyou, veternarians are a special kind of person, and i appreciate any help u can give me . Thankyou! My cat is almost 12 yrs old, healthy rite up until 5 days ago , loss of appetite, will eat a few nibbles during day, & the same with water, wont eat her dry food, but the tiny nibbles she has is caneed tuna, could u please narrow this down , as im worried for her. Thankyou!

Awww, thank you for your kind words!!! I am sorry that Cheyanne is not feeling well! Unfortunately, the symptoms of not eating and not drinking well do not narrow down all the things that could be wrong!! Cheyanne needs a complete physical exam to determine what could be ailing her - and sooner rather than later! She could have anything - from something wrong in her mouth, to ailing kidneys, to an infection somewhere, or something going on in her intestines. After a good physical exam, your veterinarian will likely also want to do some blood work and, depending on the exam findings, some x-rays. Please call your veterinarian tomorrow and, hopefully, get Cheyanne on the road to recovery!
