Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My puppy about 2 months old, suddenly doesn't eat and vomits from time to time and has bloody stool with worms. How can I possibly treat him?

I am concerned Mooshi may have a serious viral infection as well as an abundant of worms. Since he is so small and easily dehydrated I would strongly encourage to take him to your vet for an exam. Your vet can assess his hydration, do a fecal to figure out the type of worms and dewormer he needs and whether he needs any additional medicine to combat the vomiting, lethargy and diarrhea. I hope this helps and he starts to feel better really soon.

Poor Lola! Hopefully she will be fine but I do recommend to have her examined again (have her examined today) by the veterinarian and bring in another stool sample. Let them know you saw a worm. The diarrhea could be due to many conditions and it's possible she needs different diagnostics, a different diet or different medications. With continued diarrhea, there are often bacterial shifts in the gut that will make matters worse regardless of the initial cause. Many times a bland diet can help. I hope Lola starts feeling better quickly! Please feel free to post any additional questions!
