Hello. I have a 1 years old syrian hamster. He has an eye infection for 3 days. We went to the vet and he gave us antibiotics and eye drops. But the problem is that my hamster refuses to eat since he got sick, I try to feed him but he doesnt eat at all. He is weak and I am worried about him. Is there some kind of formula or food that I can give him with a syringe through the mouth? So I can make sure he gets the food he needs. (I know how to do it I am experienced.) Thank you!

Yes, there is. I would recommend Oxbow Critical Care for Herbivores: http://www.oxbowanimalhealth.com/vets/products/critical_care There are good instructions on the label on how much to feed and how to mix it up. Hope this helps. Best wishes to you and Geri.
