Due to an emergency, my dog went 15 hours in between being taken out to urinate etc. What are the possible consequences of this? Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 7 years and 2 months old | 50 lbs

Bladder can overstretch and loose its ability to contract again; this is unlikely if there are no urinary problems underlying (obstruction, lack of innervation of the bladder and so on). I would just monitor his urination for the next 48 hours and if everything seems normal I would not be worried about it.
