Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is very concerning as heart worms can cause all the clinical signs you describe. She needs to see a veterinarian as soon as possible for treatment of her heart worms. I am afraid that that is really the only thing that can help Princess. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Princess can do well!

Hi there and thank you for your post. I am sorry to hear princess is not doing well. I am concerned with how she is breathing based on your description. If she has heart worms and is having difficulty breathing, I am worried about her going into heart failure. I would get her seen by a vet as soon as possible. If she does not get medical attention soon, I fear she may continue to deteriorate. I hope princess is able to get seen and treated as soon as possible! Please feel free to contact me with any further questions or concerns you may have.
