My small dog has bad breath & green discharge; vet won't pull teeth?

Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund miniature | Female | unspayed | 4 lbs

I took my pebbles to a vet to see if they cod pull her teeth.said she had an infection and gave me antis for her.well she is done with meds but stil has a bad smell and has greenish stuff coming out her mouth.they said they cant pull them because she is so small.shes a minature daschund.i feel bad for her what can i do.to help her ?please help

Hi there and thanks for your question. I may want to get a second opinion from another veterinarian. Any size of dog can have a dental cleaning or oral surgery. It only becomes an issue when the patient's heath is compromised (has heart condition, kidney, or liver failure, etc.) that could cause a problem during anesthesia. I would visit a speciality clinic and get another opinion from a different doctor.
