If smudge is not eating or drinking I strongly recommend a visit to the veterinarian. He may have an upper respiratory infection or virus, which can cause fever, lethargy and decrease in eating. Depending on what the veterinarian fines smudge may need antibiotics or antiviral medication or other treatment to get him eating and drinking again. Good luck and I hope he's feeling better soon.

Hi there, It sounds like Bill needs veterinary care as soon as possible. With the symptoms you're describing, Bill could have a severe respiratory infection, or something else causing him no to have an appetite. He needs to be examined to find out what's causing him to feel so sick, and then treatment can be started to help him feel better. I hope that helps and thanks for using Pet Coach!
