so I was posting about this yesterday, nini anal abcess, which isn't inside the rectum,its a couple hairs away from there, its draining good, she still is eating and drinking,ive put a collar on,so no licking,ive still not gave up on the idea of figuring out the dosage of a 250 mg cephalexin for a 7 lb dog(68mg I think)but its in capsule, anyways, my ? is,whats the best way to wash it?should I put her in the tub?no soap? not even dial soap?

Yes you can put her in the tub and use dial liquid soap and rinse it well after washing. If the abscess is draining and she is eating you don't need to give antibiotics as the infection is already resolving. When breaking up capsules for a small dog I place the powder in a dish and divide it up and only give the prescribed amount mixed in cheese or peanut butter.
