Pet's info: Dog | Border Terrier | Male | neutered | 10 years old | 20 lbs
My dog has a enlarged liver with a mass.....he was diagnosed fortnight ago and is on steroids and Denamarin ....he was very poorly when we first took him...he now seems more like himself...is it the drugs that's making him feel okay....the Vet said it was just palliative care we can give him now....just need to know how long and will the tablets stop working at some time......thankyou

If the liver mass grows slowly then with medication Blue may continue to do well. The pills won't stop working but the liver disease and mass may continue to progress causing Blue's condition to decline. Since you've had improvement on the medication there is a good chance that Blue will continue to do well for some time. Remember to enjoy every day with Blue.
