My dog's Caninsulin breaks when dropped. Is there a better way?

My dog has diabetes and gets caninsulin twice daily. I have ms and frequently drop things. I was advised that if I drop caninsulin it can break the suspension and can't be used. This is proving costly for example I opened a new bottle yesterday and dropped it loading the syringe. Is there another way? Kind regards Dee. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | 22 lbs

Hi there. Sorry that you are having this issue. All insulins are very sensitive actually and not just the Caninsulin. That being said, the Caninsulin actually comes in a preloaded pen that you can use instead of dosing from a bottle and filling the syringes yourself. http://www.caninsulin.com/vetpen/about-vetpen.asp I recommend you talk to your vet about getting that instead.
