My dog limps intermittently and lifts his hind leg. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | 1 year and 8 months old

He runs and walks normally and sometimes he shows little limping in his right hind leg and sometimes it is normal and sometimes he raise his leg from floor so according to your experience is it muscle pull or sprain or some nerve problems issue?

Nerve issue does not seem to be the case as usually they do not lift the leg up, but rather drag it on the floor. It is more likely to be an orthopedic problem involving a joint (hip or knee usually). Dysplasia is possibly the most likely differential but it is difficult to be more specific than that without examining Danny and taking some x Rays. Hope that helps! I would recommend a check up.
