Why is my dog suddenly scared, clingy, and won't go outside?

Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | neutered | 19 lbs

Hey! Since Saturday my dog has been very scared. He doesn't want to go out WHICH IS BIZARRE because he loves going out. But all he's done is pee twice and have his tail down and would try to lead me home. I'm really worried because he's with a sitter right now and my dog is shaking a little and scared. This had never happened with the sitter. Also he started to follow me or my dad EVERYWHERE, he trusts us the most so I can see why us. But this is the first time he's followed us everywhere.

Sorry to hear that Sammy isn't acting like himself. Given the unusual behavior he is exhibiting, I would say that it is a good idea to have him examined by a veterinarian for any less obvious irregularities. Some of the possible causes for this type of behavior is stress, pain, or generally feeling under the weather. The veterinarian will hopefully be able to isolate the possible cause of the issue. Hope this helps.
