I am afraid I don't have an answer for Georgie's episodes. It sounds like she has gotten a very complete workup. If you are still interested in an MRI (which seems to me to be the next logical step in her diagnostic workup), you may talk to other vets, particularly a vet boarded in anesthesiology, on their opinion of her anesthetic risk. Sometimes we can do all of the diagnostics available to us and never find the cause - the term for this would be idiopathic. If you decide not to do an MRI, you may talk to your vet about possible treatments or supplements that could be used to minimize her current symptoms and see if the prolong the duration of period between episodes. Other random thoughts that pop into my head is checking for exposure to tick disease or a therapeutic trial of medication(s) for epilepsy.
