My dog has pancreatitis. How to help his appetite, bowels, and energy?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 35 lbs

Chester has pancreatitus, his symptoms are lack of appetite and irregular bowel movements he is on benazepril and metronidazole, as of lately he has been more lazy what else can I do

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I'm sorry that Chester had pancreatitis. Chester probably needs more time for his pancreas to heal. Make sure you are feeding him a low fat diet. If his appetite is still not great ask your vet for antacids and antinausea medications. Pancreatitis can also be painful. Besides supportive care Chester likely just needs time. I wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery!
