I have a 1 black dog (labmix). & 1 white dog (pit mix). please help. The black 1 has allergies but thats not the problem. He has ear mites, which im treating him 4, but now he also has some mites on his body. No hair loss. The white dog has not contracted anything from him & they share a lot. She has only had fleas 1 time in almost 8 yrs old. The black 1 with the mites sleeps with me & i dont have any bugs on me. Hes a hot mess & im at a loss. I also used FRONT LINE PLUS Also. Thank u

They are cute! Mites prefer to stay on the dogs rather than people because dogs have a higher body temperature than people. That probably is why you don't have them. If the mites are not going away I would bathe the black one, Toby?, with flea shampoo. The ear mite medication you can get from your veterinarian may be more effective than what you get at the pet store. I like to use Revolution. Controlling the mites and fleas will also reduce the itching from his allergies. Luckily the parasites don't like your white dog, they seem to prefer certain ones over others.
