Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 9 years and 2 months old | 65 lbs
I gave my dog 650mg of aspirin yesterday at 12 pm for sore legs. She weighs 65-70 lbs. Aroond 5pm she started vomiting. She has been vomiting every 1-2 hours ever since (it is now 11 am the following day). The last couple of times there have been spots of blood. Besides the vomiting, she goes for walks and has been going to the bathroom (pee and poop). She seems to be her normal self. She hasn't eaten since yesterday but has been drinking water. Should she go to the vet?

I'm sorry to hear Maggie is vomiting. That is on the higher end of the dose range that dogs can tolerate for aspirin, and one of the known side effects to it can be GI upsets and ulcers. Her vomiting could also be unrelated to the aspirin and due to another underlying issue. I would recommend she be evaluated by her regular veterinarian to determine the underlying cause for her vomiting, have any necessary testing done (X-rays) and get started on any treatment (anti-nausea medication, antacid, bland diet, GI protectant) that may be needed. Good luck!
