Why is my dog's tummy skin peeling, flaky, and bald after a bath?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 10 years and 11 months old | 80 lbs

Hi! My dog is 11 and is a lab. I gave him a bath today and noticed that the hair and skin on his tummy is peeling off and he he going bald in that area. The skin also looks white and a bit flaky. His kidneys aren't the best. Anything to worry about?

It looks like Donut may have a skin infection. That could be caused by bacteria or fungus, and is often secondary to allergies. If it's not getting better within a couple days I would take him to your vet as he may need a medicated shampoo or oral medications to heal it.
