My dog caught a frog and is drooling. Is she poisoned? First aid?

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Female | 150 lbs

Hi my dog caught a frog just now. But when i saw her, shes already drooling. Does it mesn that shes been poisoned?any first aid?

I'm sorry to hear Duchess may have had contact with a potential toxin. Not all frogs and toads are dangerous to dogs, but the ines that secrete toxins on their backs are. I would rinse her mouth out immediately with copious amounts of water, and then contact your regular veterinarian or local poison control to see if further action and decontamination is required.     Hi there. Honestly it depends on the kind of frog or toad that Duchess got ahold of. toads/frogs release mucous through their skin which always tastes bad and can be irritating to the oral mucosa (lining if the mouth) of our pets. If you are unsure of the type I really urge you to take her in to your emergency vet immediately-they can begin the decontamination process which can help subside toxic effects at least partially.
