Pet's info: Dog | Wire Fox Terrier | Male | neutered | | 16 lbs
I have just realized that Miller (my dog) has fleas rather than skin rash and his chemical treatment administered last month has expired. I'm between paychecks and unable to purchase a flea collar or treatment and I wondered if there was a home remedy to relieve him temporarily until next month?

Miller is very cute! The best treatment is flea prevention every 30 days. Flea collars don't work- so save your money. You can wash him with Dawn dish soap and that will kill fleas for 24 hours only. Vacuum the carpets and clean the canister or empty the bag because they can live inside. Wash all bedding in hot water. There really isn't any more home remedies- the flea preventions are the best therapy. Good luv and kisses to Miller!
