Hi need some advice please on my kitten she was desexed on 14/07 and stitches removed on 27/07 she still has a scab on the area which the vet said would go away, I've noticed it tonight - should I be worried? Also she has not eaten her dinner of (red meat) tonight and last night what alternative can we give her she doesn't seem to like it?? Thank you

Thank you for providing pictures of Frankie's incision, as it helps with my advice. Looking at the picture, I wouldn't be too concerned about this scab. The incision itself looks like it has healed really well, and I'm not seeing any signs that would cause concern. Just leave it be, but if it's still present in another few weeks. have Frankie seen by a vet to check it out. As for the red meat, that's not a balanced diet for a kitten. Kittens need protein and calcium as well as many other nutrients to grow correctly and meet their nutritional needs, and red meat alone will not provide this. She needs a kitten formulated food to meet those nutritional needs. Brands I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I would get her a kitten formulated food from one of those brands today to feed her. Mix in a little the red meat to ease the diet transition.
