If a dog is truly suffering from anaphylactic shock I would recommend taking them to the vet immediately. This is not something you can treat at home. Symptoms of anaphylaxis include swelling of the face, especially around the eyes, ear tips and muzzle, hives throughout the skin, vomiting and diarrhea and breathing issues. Oftentimes in cases of shock dogs will need IV fluids and several medications to help offset the reaction. Sometimes dogs require hospitalization overnight to become stable. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
