My kitten was in the fridge, now cold & shaking. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I just found my kitten in the fridge. She couldn't of been in there for more than an hour and a half. When I found her,her paws were ice cold and she was starting to shake. I have her wrapped up in a blanket. Is there anything else I need to do? And will this affect her in any way?

i would recommend warming her with a water bottle, not directly but through a towel so she warms up faster, once her body temperature returns to normal she should be fine, although possibly a little traumatized.
