My dog's tooth is loose after chewing. Does it hurt? Vet needed?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 3 days old | 30 lbs

my dog but my phone and now her tooth is like hanging. I dont know what to do I don't know If it hurts her or if i should take her to a vet in the morning ?

If she has a tooth hanging out, it's not necessarily an emergency, but I would recommend taking her to vet in the morning. If it's a baby tooth, it is usually not a problem since they will fall out eventually. If it's an adult tooth that is hanging, she will likely need to be put under anesthesia to have it extracted as these broken adult teeth are very painful and prone to infection.

    Oh no, poor Layla! Likely this tooth is her baby canine tooth, which would fall out eventually anyway. Do not pull this tooth out yourself, as if it's barely hanging on, it should come out on it's own, like during a meal. I would take her into the vet in the morning to have her mouth examined, as it should be made sure that the root isn't still in her gums. I would feed her canned puppy food or soak her dry food with warm water or low sodium beef or chicken broth to make it softer and easier for her to eat in case her mouth is sore.
