What's this soft lump on my cat's forehead after a sore fell off?

My male desexed cat approx 1.3yrs old. Developed a small notted fur type sore which fell off 3 days ago on his forehead now he has developed a large mass soft in texture all around the spot lost the hair where the sore was and there is a small dot on the skin there. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | neutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 5.5 lbs

I would consider taking Jax to the vet. From your description I'm concerned he may have an abscess or pocket of infection in his head. If he is sore, not eating or acting sick at all I would try to get him to the vet tomorrow. If he is acting well and no discharge you can consider monitoring it a little longer to see if it decreases in size.
