Should I worry if my dog has green eye discharge every hour?

Hello, I currently have a Shiba Inu mix and I wanted to know if it's normal for my dog to have green eye boogers come every hour. Should I take him to the vet for a check up or is it normal? Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | neutered | 4 years and 9 months old | 20 lbs

Clear nasal discharge is considered normal if not profuse, green however would indicate a potential infection. I would advise taking Archie in to the vet. The veterinarian will be able to take a swab of the discharge to tell if it is an infection and if so what type. The vet will also be able to find the source of the infection; for example nasal passages or within the lungs. A treatment plan can then be made with you.
