My kitten's spay incision is hard after 2 weeks. Is it normal?

I got my 4 month old female kitten spayed 13 days ago and was wondering if it looks normal and if it is normal it still does not heal completely? Her incision feels hard like if it was a scab. Is that normal? I have kept her in a room to avoid too much activity and has been eating and acting normal.

From the pictures, Chicles' incision looks great! Occasionally, a scab will linger over the incision until it falls off or is licked off, and this is quite normal. Since she is 13 days post-surgery, you can gradually allow her to increase her exercise level by being out of the single room for a few hours for a few days, before allowing her to return to her normal lifestyle. I hope this helps and that all continues to go well! :-)

Thanks for using Petacoach! It looks like the incision is healing well. If they used glue to close the skin, it takes longer for the scab to fall off. As long as there is no redness, heat to the touch or discharge everything is good. Kisses to Chicles!
