Kitten wore Hartz flea collar briefly. Why isn't he playing?

Question

Used a hartz ultraguard flea collar on my kitten. Was on him for 3-5 minutes tops. Took it off and bathed him almost immediately afterwards. My girlfriend is freaking out that our kitten is dying because he isn't playing as much as normal. Is my kitten okay? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | 2 months and 17 days old

Just dry him up and give him some time, you did well removing it right away and washing him, this probably removed 95% of any potential toxic effect from him, he should be fine. don't use this collar/brand in the future, there have been too many bad reactions with these products and i consider them dangerous for any pet.
