Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 1 day old | 4 lbs
Hi so I'll soon be traveling with him to UAE and the laws say he needs to be shipped as cargo and I don't know what's the difference between checked baggage and cargo he'll be shipped as "cargo" so does that mean he'll be in the same plane or not?

Hello and thank you for your question and using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If your cat will need to be shipped in cargo on your flight, then he will be in the cargo area below the plane where they put other animals and baggage. He will be on the same flight you are.

Cargo means the back of the plane. Though peta have a special section in the back which is climate controlled. Your cat will travel in a crate appropriate for his size and will have fresh water supply. You can arrange to be on the same plane. But you would need to book Fuzz and find out what flight he will be on and then book yourself a seat on that flight. Best of luck with the move!
