Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This maybe a questions best discussed with a consult because I have a lot more questions: new or old behavior? When you are home or gone? How old is Wendy? Is she overweight or arthritic? Defecating in the house can be from many factors some as simple as preference to a break in house training. It could also be from separation anxiety when she is alone. If that is the case discuss starting a long term anti-anxiety medication like prozac with your Vet and start some relaxation/training techniques for when you leave can help. You could consider crating her when alone. Other causes could be medical: arthritis and obesity can lead to pain or difficulty defecating. Make sure all soiled areas are cleaned well with an enzymatic pet carpet cleaner (Nature's Miracle). Consider gating off the rooms she goes to to defecate. And lastly if it is always around the same time of day you could change her feeding schedule and feed less at the meal before the defecating happens. I hope this helps and if you have other questions or clarifications I am available to consult!

This is probably because she has not be trained properly to do his business outside. you can find many guides to train a dog on the internet, the following one is just one example: https://www.cesarsway.com/dog-training/housebreaking-issues/the-secret-to-housebreaking-adult-dogs
