Pexion for dogs: Is rapid breathing during sleep a side effect?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 6 years and 6 months old | 14.5 lbs

My dog is trialing pexion not for seizures but behaviours possibly linked to brain activities My question is since she's been on it which is just 2 weeks I'm sure that sometimes her breathing has become rapid and shallow when sleeping or resting Is there anything in pexion that could be causing this ?

The active ingredient in pexion can have a few mild and usually temporary side effects such as increased thirst, hyperactivity, hypersalivation etc. I have never heard of it causing breathing issues explicitly, but it could be a side effect. I wouldnt worry about it overly though as it sounds like Jasmine is ok orherwise.
